Motion Graphics Series
Animating a national program
for a regional audience.
The Challenge
However, the region needed to:
• Adapt the animations into lightweight GIFs optimized for email
• Ensure consistency across a multi-month eblast campaign
• Maintain the brand’s momentum without losing its visual rhythm or identity.
Motion-to-GIF Conversion & Optimization
I re-edited the original animations, restructured frame counts, adjusted pacing, and refined color compression to ensure the GIFs loaded seamlessly in email clients — without losing quality or movement.
This included: Frame reduction without visual loss, color palette optimization, looping refinement, weight reduction for deliverability
A series of six motion graphics adapted from West Coast animations into optimized GIFs for the East Coast Activated campaign — blending technical precision, creative editing, and multi-regional collaboration.
The Outcome
The motion series became a core element of the Activated email campaign, increasing engagement through dynamic visuals that stood out inside a traditionally static communication channel.
The adapted GIFs:
boosted interaction, improved brand recognition, and helped establish Activated as a fun, energetic, and highly visible program across the region.
This project showcased not only motion design and adaptation, but also technical mastery, problem-solving, and brand stewardship across regional markets.
